Camping in summer in Devon is so unreasonably expensive, but not so much at Wilton Farm. Facilities here are very basic, there are no fancy toilet and shower blocks here - and that is what is just one of the things that are so good about it. The views are awesome, which means it is exposed in bad weather. You pitch where you like / where you can find space. The owner is super friendly and helpful.
This is a lovely place to sit back and relax, showers and toilets are very clean and well maintained, the back roads getting there are not for the inexperienced or timid drivers, the staff are friendly and there is plenty space to pitch up. Suited to families and couples.
Friendly campsite with reasonable rates. Very helpful owner/staff, lots of useful facilities (shop, bbq hire, etc) and plenty of space when we were there. Toilets and showers were 100% when we were there.
A lovely eco and dog friendly campsite, with great views. The compost toilets were nice and clean and the showers were good (and hot). No facilities for washing-up or sinks for washing hands/brushing teeth though, but we were only here for one night so not an issue, but if we'd stayed longer then we'd have needed to prep for that in advance.
An absolutely fantastic farm campsite! It has the all utilities you would want such as compost toilets, gas showers and a place to charge your phone (farm shop), as well as offering great views in a lovely location. I spoke to the owner a few times and he was always eager to help and ensure everyone is happy. Top bloke.
