While it's a beautiful place I find it terrible that the national Trust insist on charging so much. I was only going to be there for an hour (for work) but had to pay for an entire day of parking. For this reason I avoid national trust car parks...
Nice coastal walks with a couple of cafe's on route. Right next to grass runway for small light aircraft, which was being used when we arrived. The kids enjoyed watching the planes land. Great views when you get closer to the coast, especially towards Salcombe.
Fab place would suggest getting there quickly on a sunny day, especially half term, as parking spots went fast. Definitely visit the honesty cafe which is less than 20 minutes away via walking on 'road' or longer if want to take the cliff (scenic) route
