After breakfast at Caf Bewleys up the hill (see my separate review), my mate wanted to show me this shoe shop. He very much liked their shoes which carried the name of the shop and wanted to know where they came from, as he had never seen them for sale anywhere else. The very amiable and forthcoming lady assistant explained that they designed the shoe styles, then got famous shoe manufacturers like Loake, Barker and Cheaney to make themon their behalf, so that explains their excellent quality. The shoes on show in the shop are displayed better than any other shoe shop I've ever been in, so you can see and touch them as needs be, to inspect the subtleties of one design comparing to another. I wasn't in the market to buy shoes that day, but will certainly bear them in mind for a future purchase.
Geat service and speedy shipping to Australia. I have bought a couple of pairs of shoes the last were a two tone pair with a crocodile pattern (on sale). I was disappointed that the colour scuffed off the toe cap the first time I wore them and is hard to restore. Other than that great shoes and would buy again but will steer clear of the two tone styles.
