I saw a product on the website for 11.99 but when I went to collect two of these items in the shop, the price was now 19.99 each. I was told that the shop price was more than the website price but given no reasonable explanation for this unreasonable price hike (66% price increase). On one of the items I pointed out that there were two price labels; one for the lower price. The assistant agreed to sell this at the lower price but not the identical item that had the higher price label. Unfortunately I needed these products urgently and could not go elsewhere on this occasion.
I have now used Wills marine a couple of times. I find them very professional and helpful. I was not a big customer spending 1000 on a secondhand engine but I was made to feel important with the staff happy to spend time taking me through my purchase. The next time I'm in the market for anything boat related I will start my search at Wills Marine.
