Unfortunately, despite booking a taxi and waiting over 15 mins at the location it didnt show up.The booking had been accepted several hours earlier, the relatively high price agreed as it had to come from Kingsbridge, and all calls to enquire went to answer-machine. Im still none the wiser as to where the car actually was, leaving us stranded and late for an event.
Avoid.The journey from kingsbridge to silvergates 1.5 miles max cost 9.40. Ridiculous priceing.
A ten minute drive in to Salcombe cost 14 which was very reasonable and the driver was very good. The return journey somehow cost 22 even though it was only 1930. I would expect something like that if it was late but I was far from it. The reason for the sudden price hike was because its from salcombe. Only use if you want to get stung with a random price hike.
Booked A2B for a birthday meal out with 5 friends and they didn't show up, tried calling and couldn't get through to anyone. Ruined our evening! Have also had rude exchanges from the driver on local lanes to my house. Awful company
Unreliable. Booked for an early start walking, and just didn't show. No answer on their contact number. We had to drive and incurred extra costs as a result. They then called to try and pick us up later in the day, and didn't even offer an apology. Found a local taxi firm who will receive all of our business (and a lot of it) instead. Avoid A2B!
