Very nice steaks!
I and a couple of friends are currently enjoying an excellent pint of Bass direct from the barrel, which is unique locally. We can also vouch for the Dartmoor IPA and Jail Ale, great to see such a varied offering of quality beers in what is a unique local hostelry. An all round top pub with marvellous food and wonderful staff!
Shocking!! Just popped in to treat my fianc to a pint of Bass on his birthday. Landlady was huffing and puffing as we walked in the door and her manners/publican skills were atrocious. If you can't be bothered anymore give up!!!P.s If you have the Bass triangle outside you should never run out
Great old school pub ,great service and the steak is so good it could turn a vegetarian back to meat.
If you want shiney and new go somewhere else, this is a proper old English pub with excellent food with very friendly owners, we were made to feel very welcome, we will be going back and we will be recommending to anyone who finds themselves in the area to go there.
