My favourite bookshop anywhere - excellent selection of very well chosen, often unusual books, lovely atmosphere. We visit whenever we are on holiday down here and always leave with a bag full of things we haven't seen elsewhere. Managed superbly by a very elegant cat (although some lovely humans seem to do most of the day to day stuff).
Used to live in this shop when I was growing up.Was back in Kingsbridge today for the first time in twenty years and popped in. Still a fantastic shop and it was lovely to be back. Many thanks to the owner for her kindness and hospitality. Will be back next summer.
So nice to see an independent bookshop in Kingsbridge... I can honestly say I have never met a more enthusiastic and helpful store owner. Nothing is too much trouble and always interested in new or upcoming authors. My wife ordered a book here, and it arrived before it was even available from the well known South American 'rainforest' online store
